AP Painting Solutions Ltd. is Hiring Full Time- Commercial Painters and Coating Specialists

AP Painting Solutions Ltd. is growing fast and needs to hire full time- Commercial Painters and Coating Specialists immediately!  To qualify, applicants need 3 years and be available within the hours we require. We are a well-respected professional company that has been experiencing strong growth in Southern Ontario over the last three years.

Applicants can expect both interior and exterior work in a variety of environments.

JOB DETAILS:

  • Typical working hours are Monday to Friday 7-4:30 (nights and weekends as required)
  • Some travel may be involved
  • Work in a team environment or independently delivering quality with superior customer service
  • Prepare surfaces prior to painting by cleaning, scraping, filling holes or joints, sanding, priming
  • Clean up job site including the removal of paint splatters, garbage, and cleaning all equipment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Must be comfortable working at heights

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Driver’s license and vehicle – this is a plus and may be required depending on your role within our company
  • Preparation of surfaces using the necessary tools in the trade like a putty knife, power tools, sanders, scraper, hand masker etc.
  • Use of ladders & scaffold (comfortable with heights)
  • Detail-oriented to complete quality work and rectify imperfections with minimal supervision
  • Experience with any of the following:  Spraying, Cut, and roll using a brush/roller, Epoxy coatings, Wall Coverings
  • WHMIS
  • Lift / Fall Arrest Certification
  • First Aid
  • Police Clearance
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Safety Shoes (mandatory)

COMPENSATION:

  • $15.00 to $25.00/hour – Based upon experience/skills
  • Overtime rate after 44 hours
  • Benefit package after 90 days (Optional)
  • Paid weekly plus 4% Vacation
